Don G.

An installation synthesizing the consciousness of the character of Don Gately at a specific point in David Foster's Wallace's novel Infinite Jest. In order to view the work, the perceiver lies down on the bed (mimicking the perspective of the hospital-bed-ridden Gately) and is presented with two projections; one on the wall in front of them and one on the ceiling. The treatment of the typography reflects the past, present and future narratives of both Gately and the perceiver.
