Hot Deals

Hot Deals is a multimedia installation that uses "small business" LED signage as a content source. A scrolling LED sign displays messages collected from businesses over the course of a year; a canopy of 13” x 24” LED signs flash and bathe the space in a violet hue; a close-up video of the scrolling sign becomes an abstract filmic translation of flickering LEDs, projected at a wall-sized scale.
